That’s a great point. Would have to see the application to make sure they didn’t combine numbers, etc.

I’m sure they likely combined South and Shore numbers on the application since they are technically under the same club. Neither one could have justifiably been accepted as a stand-alone club. Especially compared to the other mentioned clubs like PSA, FC Copa etc.

I definitely get it. PDA South is allowing a third team in at each age group. So now PDA South can attract from those clubs in southern NJ, PA & even DE to come to there club instead of traveling to the PDA Complex. These other clubs you mention do not even meet the minimum requirements either and will never be given consideration. If you join these clubs thinking other wise then that is on you.

Correct. They will shift players around to cover the shortfalls as needed. From one club to the other. and then back again. Shell game.

I’d like to see the application too. Just to be sure everything was above board. And no false puffery was done to paper the acceptance.

Agreed. PDA South didn’t even meet the minimum requirements. You don’t realize that turns off not only clubs but the actual customers. People understand what’s going on.

TRFC would not even exist if it wasn’t for PDA Shore carrying the flag and putting them on the map. It’s basically like a rec feeder program for PDA and so it gives the rec/lower level travel players something to strive for. Everyone wants to wear the letters and the powder Blue.
