Lots of teams share space for practices... FA seems to have a few really good teams. They host lots of tournaments and also go to other big tournaments. I have younger kids and they are at the top of my list come spring.

Young kids and you want them to start with this club? Because they host tournaments and go to big ones? Have you actually done research? Do you know the kind of guys that are running it? Heres a hint. Not good people. You may want to change that list.

No, there's other reasons like distance from home. I will look into the teams and coaching more this spring. It seems like everyone on this forum has issues with every club.

Best advice I can give you. Look at the coach. There's a few really good professionals that make it about the kids and the game. Then the others that just collect paychecks. Just like teachers in the classrooms. Country needs to stop giving paychecks away to subpar workers in every field. Raise the standard and keep it there.

Stay away from the English coaches, definitely collecting a paycheck and going through the motions. Why not stay home in England where football is king if they are so good???

This is such an ignorant and xenophobic comment to make. What do you suggest American Parent coach volunteers that have no clue about the game? Every country has great coaches and soccer is a way of life in the UK unlike the US.

I agree some good ones out there but also lots of Spanish, Portuguese, German etc in the Premier League. As for your comment against American coaches? Berhalter would be one of the best in the Premier league if he managed there right now.

NC is a very good guy and coach, he has been coaching my son for years now so don’t listen to the negativity in this group.

                          Nothing special

Someone last year said it best, I wouldn’t go out of my way to join the football academy NJ.
