Rest assured everyone, the USSDA on both the girls and boys side is not going away. An announcement will be out tomorrow that the season is shuttered, but the DA will continue to go on as per normal.

Imagine all the fake news that has come out on this topic, all the mud slinging, all the chatter about everything.

    All for nothing, FAKE NEWS.

    USSDA goes on.
No, because if they get into the business of shooting down fake rumors all the time, the ECNL minions win. It's a constant barrage from them.

As long as the clubs are being communicated to -and they are- that's what they need to be doing for now.

I don't know about all clubs, but as of right now our club doesn't know and sent an email stating they will keep everyone abreast of the situation.

Same here. Just an acknowledgement of the rumor and the origin being an article in soccer wire based on that one tweet and that theyd let us knwo whats going on when USSF makes an announcement.

USSDA creating a scenario where the USWNT winning their lawsuit becomes a negative for the team when they are all blamed for US Soccer pulling the plug on the DA and all of its youth development ideals just to pay them back?

I am sure lots of US fans would love to see Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan basically taking the money meant for youth development and stuffing it in their pockets.

          ‘Merica!

Literally no one in America cares about youth soccer except youth soccer parents.

How is the ECNL any different ?

Right and only half of that cares about the USWNT.

It’s not and ECNL won’t come out of this unscathed. The corona crisis will have many people reevaluating the need to travel far and wide for youth sports. It always seemed ridiculous but now even more so. Between the potential health consequences and the economic fall out from the virus - I can’t imagine people aren’t rethinking how much time and money they want to spend on youth sports. Common sense.

It's no different, that's why it will hopefully fold too.

There will always be parents willing to spend money on this because of the potential College pay off.

Yea until colleges kill their scholarship programs because they have no money to give away to sports that don’t create revenue.

                              BINGO!

University of Cincinnati just got rid of their men’s soccer program.

Going back to graduation year is part of the change as well.

Late born 8th graders and seniors will have a club season now.

                                Thank you USSDA
