My child is on WCFC. We are good/above average but not sure we are the best team at Penn Fusion. Going to be tough to win our bracket. I think we would give those DA teams a good game but not sure after all the girls playing HS for half season if we are ready.

Do you see my point now after this morning thrashing of Lower Merion?? Which by the way is a former ECNL team coached by the Nova coach. We should have been in top bracket and trust me most of the DA teams here ain’t even as good as Lower Merion.

It’s the same guy posting and bashing PDA. Everyone know PDA is the best club in this region in all aspects, including development. GDA without PDA is not an elite league.

They are good players. Just didn’t get developed like the others picked to represent the US. Let’s be honest. Good but not elite. Not one deserves a spot over the girls going to England. Winning not developing. Some college players yes. That’s it. A clear picture of what is to come into the future. Two practices a week for half a season and long ball play style. It’s just not the path for US Soccer.

You know this how? i keep pointing this out. At this age there are several players who are pretty equivalent. Of course its a honor, but to suggest these are the "best" is just silly. The split has essentially created two somewhat parallel pathways with the resultant dilution. Whether it be USYNTs or id2 trips or whatever.

The path becomes more clear once kids go to College

Agree. Don't get the hate for PDA. The club has been so good at developing talent and has been the club that put NJ soccer on the map. Still the top club in this region for developing talent
