Add the fact that the "PDA Wolves - championship team" plays their first game outside of ECNL at a local EDP tourney and get blown out 2:0 by a town travel team! Once you step out of the shell, there are so many more of those "one game" instance.

Real NJ 2006 is the real deal...town team my butt!

Rutgers got robbed being a 4 seed, they are one of the best programs out there how is that possible. Look out they will destroy UVA an overrated ACC team....

How did the ncaa d1 tournament work out. So obviously they shouldn’t have been a 4 seed,
They aren’t going to Best anyone in acc especially not uva.
And most importantly it’s a good thing no one knows who you are because if we did we would never listen to s urging you say about soccer again.

Agreed, absolutely embarrassing for Rutgers with all the great talent they have from PDA to lose to CCSU on their home field, if that’s not a wake up call I don’t know what is. As a Rutgers alum and local soccer fan I’ve often wondered why this team loaded with top talent does not win more. Is it the coaching or is the talent not as good as advertised?

Both. MP, JH, RJ and many other local players had no desire to consider Rutgers. The best local talent does not go there. Our best kids dont go to Rutgers.

The coach is the person who runs pda female side of the club.

He only coaches hs age teams and cherry picks which one( always the best of the group) so he has nothing to do with their development as they mature.

He pushes real hard for pda players to go to Rutgers.

Bull. He is at the trainings. He has input. He is at the games sitting with the coaches and having input. In other words..COACHING. hence involved in development. He is...or was when he had influence getting kids to natl camps. If that isnt involved with development for his youth soccer club and college team, i dont know what you think development entails.
He dictates their style of play...his college style...in his youth club.

And since rutgers (pda university), is a state school not private...its costs him less for money offered. It is cheaper for nj residents to attend the in state/nj college. The scholarship dollar gets spread around more.

SH and MM call ups were two of the more bizarre in recent memory. Solid players, but given a chance to make a WC roster on the back on ONE camp? Amazing, really was. Nothing against the kids, but truly bizarre that you give kids with zero call ups a chance that late over kids who you have presumably looked at for the entire 2 years. And to think one of them, made the team!!

ECNL games don't kick in until AFTER college/high school. And during hs/college, there are only minimal practices. And once they start, he is there front and center thereafter.

You get what after means, even in caps, correct?
