I have no idea. I can only estimate.
It was between $10,000-15,000 per year for ECNL (huge money here).
GDA was a little less than ECNL as you don't have weekly hotel room expense generally. ODP was a bargain in comparison.

but, again, you aren't comparing apples to apples. If one did ONLY ODP, with no other club, yes. But, assuming that is the case you would need to add those costs in. And the travel for this showcase or whatever it was.

Our Year 1 costs for GDA came to $7500 (tuition, uniform, fees to send kid to the showcases, and a few hotels)

And while some are poking fun at the level of play in ODP currently. Not all ECNL or GDA teams are top notch either. In fact, many are not.

The exercise isn't getting into the experience of ECNL and GDA and ODP.
They were all great experiences.

It's about the expense and how some, who can not afford it or logistically can't do it, can still get in front of good coaches and not be in GDA or ECNL.

It's another potential avenue to be discovered.

Btw - they all network and many are on the list you provided from your kid's game. It's still an avenue for exposure.

ANY good USYS team is going to PDA over Labor Day weekend for exposure (ECNL and they have top tier non-ECNL brackets too) - FC Delco tourney is 2nd tier that weekend, unless you're a guy. Then it still matters.

Didn't consider any of these a miss at all.
No 3 other showcases instead; 1st year GDA there were only 2 - FL and SD. And SD was only for top 14 teams for post season.

PDA Memorial Day weekend tourney is open to Girls ECNL (as it's an ECNL tourney) and non-ECNL (USYS teams). Yes, it's considered the better option over FC Delco tourney in PA anymore.
