Except one is an actual national team. Not some made up BS. Parents are so desperate to believe. The whole thing is a mess.

Except that the real national team is in florida. It would be a better idea to go see them practice rather than stay at the showcase.

I will be seeing them since my player is on the team. And if you think that has anything to do with any particular youth soccer league or club or team you are wrong.

And don't misunderstand me....the players are forced to associate with a da to compete for the national teams. But that is not where or how they developed their talents.

That 04 team came over from PSA as a group with their coach ...and stayed in the same league ..only change is the club name

Dope...more like 1 kid per team from each club and age group. So take out the last two zeros from your post and really its only 1 kid from a team of 20+ players. Nice try though

                    2 age groups with 66 teams with 20 players - 2640

                    2 teams with 17 players - 34

So according to maths MF has 6% of national sports while representing 1.5% of the overall players. 4x expected outcome.

Seems like fuzzy math to me Dom- why not try that again. Again this "national team" is a marketing ploy by the ecnl- not the best players sorry in the country by any means. If we are going to really place the "best" ecnl players in this game more of the 2004 PDA team would be playing. It is a nice game to play but certainly not the "best" players even in the Florida showcase.

Heard these girls names were picked out of a hat. Isnt the one girl only been on MFA for like a week and now shes on this roster? Great development (recruiting)... Im sure she will do fine having never played an ECNL game

PDA/Stars are sending in 4 teams, but only contributes 2 players. By this standard MF is way more successful at developing/attracting individual talent (and we already know the better players are on the National League 04 team).

Let me spin/simplify the numbers again to help your fuzz:

Out of 132 teams - 98 teams have zero players on these 2 teams (MF has 1 for each team)

Out of all the clubs participating, just 20 clubs have players on the team, 7 clubs have multiple players (and out of those just 3 clubs have a single team per age group). MF is one of those 3 clubs.

Your joking if you really think that MFA has better players than PDA White and Blue, as well as FA STARS, SUSA , + World Class... That National team is a joke !!! Dom kisses ECNL Ass ( Markets the heck out of it ) and then they let him pick two kids- thats how they roll in the ECNL, News Flash MFA 2003 and 2004 teams are not good- those teams have no super stars. Stop drinking the cool aid- move on - you should really leave soccer mom - your kids are not going to get any better!

Of course I’m joking. I’m hoping to see these numbers in official MF marketing propaganda soon. Marketing in youth soccer is everything.
