I knew a family whose daughter was at MF (and may still be, not sure because we lost touch). They seemed satisfied with the experience, but apparently MF looked down upon the kid going to training outside of the club (eg. Red Bulls or other similar programs). I always thought that was weird.

That’s the only way the MF kids develop by doing training at other places

Wilson does this because he’s a control freak only cares about winning, there’s players on ECNL team don’t belong on that team how are the ECRL players to improve their skills and get the touches they need . The whole organization is a cancer…it’s done on the girls side as well. RT does not develop any of the players and if you get outside training you get ratted out by the snakes around you and your kid gets benched…it’s such a shame what youth soccer has turned into

If you read any of these threads it’s happening at every club around us…which club doesn’t do tbis? It’s like they have this chokehold on the parents…these clubs are getting out of hand …someone associated it with the mafia and that comment was spot on…

That’s your opinion and if you don’t like it then leave. If you’re here and like it that’s great. Just bc your kid sits the bench doesn’t make it a terrible team. The starters on all teams trap the benefits and everyone else is just filler
