Look at the goal differentials in rl ne and rl na and that should tell you all you need to know. It’s not a competitive league and similar to edp NAL e64, Acela etc. there are some great players in these leagues but they are all pretty much similar from a competitive perspective despite the sales pitch and marketing efforts. Somebody needs to get real and lower the cost of travel. Whoever can do that will win the market share imho.

Great business move but agree it is what it is. Glorified edp with better marketing and more investment

Actually RL is worse than EDP. Cause some teams in RL are bottom level EDP teams. Atleast EDP teams are flighted with teams at their level. RL is not. So you have a few competitive games and a bunch of easy games. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing though. It’s good to have a mix of talent to play.

Eh - it depends on each age group. Plenty of EDP teams in the wrong flight too, especially since a lot of those EDP teams moved to RL and lower teams were brought up to replace them.
