I don't think it would be a voluntary choice if a decision was made at the club level. There have been instances that a really strong team was awarded a badge over the main location, see ECNL MFA and MFA Shore.

Isn’t the Monmouth B team better than the Monmouth A team though? Speaking strictly on results at least. They went 3-0-0 at the showcase in Florida while the A team went 1-0-2

There are lots of clubs that have both their A and B teams in Pre-GA. NYSC also has 2 teams. It doesn’t mean they are playing GA. The B teams will be in NAL. The club is trying to rebuild Bergen. They may offer B team players spots on Bergen, but in reality, they really just want a strong GA team. A lot may change with the age cutoff change coming as well.

right now both Monmouth teams are significantly ahead of where Bergen is. not even close. If putting up strong competitive teams is the priority for the club, both teams from Monmouth are a better representation for the club. That's not to say for any other age group, or where the teams will be in a year from now. Last month, neither of the monmouth vs bergen games were competitive.

NAL. CSA told the parents that they’d get two GA badges, but that’s a lie because that’s not how club vs club leagues work.
