Not a complicated choice if you ask me. Both PDA and MFA are solid ECNL clubs that deliver quality results. While PDA has been around for a bit longer and enjoys a semblance of monopoly on local girls talent; MFA has emerged as a legitimate force to be reckoned with especially within the younger ages. MFA has dominated or held their own against PDA in the 2010 & younger teams. IMHO MFA has objectively been able to achieve more with less.
Depending on what you are looking for… my opinion is if you want a ready-made team where your child might end up as a 5th wheel PDA will be the choice as teams tend to be top heavy BUT if you want to be a Rebel and join a team resetting Club soccer order and dominance then MFA will be the worthy choice. I have been very impressed with what MFA continue to achieve each year no matter how many quality players are poached by PDA. As a poster stated in a different thread, PDA will be in a world of trouble if MFA had been able to retain all its players poached by pda.
Now beware both clubs have a lot of “haters”… primarily disappointed parents unhappy with their child’s progress or inability to meet expectations. Joining either club is bound to expose you to enemy fire at some point.

Not a bad recommendation.
Looking at it from a super car analogy perspective. Whether Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, Bugatti, Porsche, or Mercedes-Benz you pick whichever tickles your fancy you will need to properly service the car and at some point it will still develop mechanical issues.
No soccer club is perfect. Parents who leave for whatever reason are often very bitter and tend to bad mouth the former club so I wouldn’t take these anonymous comments too seriously. Take your child to some training sessions and see the interactions btwn the players, coaches, and your child. A player should always go to a team she feels most comfortable with the teammates.

People come and go after they realize the style of soccer and see the coaches body language and behavior on game day.

MFA is the future of youth soccer if they can invest in developing their own facilities. PDA used to be the club but has diluted its brand with too many low quality sites and track record of failing to develop any real talents outside of players poached from other clubs into PDA Blue.
For older players above 15 yrs pda remains the club of choice until mfa do better with talent retention and attracting more talents at those older ages. Younger players heading to pda seeking development risk falling thru the cracks as few on the team can get the extra attention. Goodluck in your soccer adventure.
