This is so true- or some EDP teams are better than your ECNL teams.. All want $$$

I sure hope so. It’s all a racket I hope college coaches see through it by time my kids are at that point.

Bottom 5 of a club's ECNL can be swapped with top 5 of the ECRL team and there would be no difference. Maybe the the ECRL players would actually make the ECNL team a deeper bench.

Doubt top 5 teams in RL could do any better in ECNL then the 5 worst teams in any age group but what most people forget is it is a CLUB league not a team one. No one cares if you have a great team that could compete when the rest of your club sucks donkey ballls. Sorry, lots of clubs have a team or two every year that are as good or better then even some mid tier ECNL ones and some have even been able to put out ones that can compete with top 3 but the rest of those clubs would be slaughtered by the bottom teams. That is the ECNLs entire marketing model....Doesn't matter how strong or great your club team is, if it isn't in ECNL then you are only making things tougher on yourself trying to sell yourself to a scout. I don't care if you can score 40-50 goals a season in EDP 3, try it against the players at the top. I know several with just that resume, 40+ goals a year in HS 2-3 goals a game at club but they play WEAK teams and when they finally do go to an ECNL or GA team they seem to fall off considerable.
