It's simple a club will usually do what is in the best interest of their wallet instead of wgsf is best for each August kid. August remains an arbitrary date anc creates new problems especially whfn it is clear most states have September 1 birth deadline. So now for the courtesy of 5 states or so we have almost all August kids playing down in grade.

Man, it's like some people are figuring out for the first time that it's possible to not get an offer for the team you want. If the club thinks you will accept a spot on the team below, they would be tempted to offer that instead of the team with your class. It's just like now, where they would love for some kids to take a spot on the B team, but they fear they won't accept. This is very often the deciding factor for the bottom players on A team - do I need to give them an A team spot to get them at my club? If you want the spot on the A team, and you aren't a standout, you might have to make it known that you will not be a customer of that club on the B team. That also means you may have to take your business to another club which gives a better offer.

So if you tryout for the team with your class, and they refuse to let you play up, they lose a customer. That's the nature of club soccer. Good clubs are *always* turning away players from their A teams, but people are acting like it's no-cut.

It's reality and you are a clown. If a club has 18 kids born in one year and 18 born in another year and there are 2 August players in the younger year the club is going to keep 36 kids. The club is not going to cut a kid so your august kid can play up. Sorry this is a business. Wake up people
