Calling people "Chads" and "Karens" are exactly why these rules are in place. What a F****** tool.

I agree this should be enforced. I don’t know what’s worse a teams parents who man-spread the entire length of the field. Or the dad who starts off on their side and after half time ends up standing behind the opposing teams parents.
look buddy, the extra 20 yards isn’t going to help you

No thanks I’ll pick my spot where I’d like to stand.

OK so we've got about 25-30 fans from each team, most spread within 40 yards around the midfield stripe. I'm beholden to stay on my side of the field. I don't want to listen the normal sideline activity as it's frankly embarrassing how people act. I also have an aversion to being poked in the eye by an umbrella. Since I had gone for a walk during the pre-game, I have to either stand behind them (makes the poster above anxious), risk losing an eye, or walking away from everyone. So I stand about 25 yards from goal, away from the fray. Sounds great, but now I can't see my kid because they are playing outside so anything down this sideline I can't see. I tried to lean in, but I'm in the way of the AR.
"Dad how did I play?"
"I have no idea...I'm not allowed to go near you so I couldn't see anything."
This, is considered a good thing.

yea, one team 1 foot to the left of mid field and the other 1 foot to the right solves everything
