He said anytime someone mentions these in their emails they don't even bother with them. But, have fun bragging your kid made it. PS. I assume we are talking about girls because I think only the girls polls came out on nj.com. Baylor University is just about done with their recruiting of the 2025 and 2026 classes. (as are almost 90% of the P4 programs) If you are not talking finances with a P4 school at this point that ship has sailed. So are we really talking about sophomores and freshman in HS good luck with the reality that is the future of NCAA soccer. Good Luck on your journey in the new world of NCAA non-revenue sports, you are in for a treat.

Just for clarification, we are friends with the coach. He went to school with my sister. So yes, we spoke with him about it. We speak to him whenever we have recruiting questions. I don't think anyone thinks these polls mean anything. To ask a coach from Baylor about a poll that clearly means nothing is the craziest thing I have ever heard of. I wouldn't bother anyone(friend or family) I know about the nj.com poll let alone a college coach friend or not.

Why do so many people have issue with stupid schitd that doesn't affect them. NJ.com does a great job of marketing and creating click bait for parents with kids in HS sports. For some parents the NJ.com polls are the biggest accolade their kid may get. Let them enjoy the moment. Really, why would it bother you?
