How do you know if you have a good coach or not?? What should they be doing in practices at u13/u14 age.

In my opinion, if kid is developing and improving and they still love the game at U13/U14, you found a decent coach. In addition, active involvement in practice is a must - I've seen coaches chatting away to other coaches or on their phones for half of practice. For U13/14 they should be doing a combination of technical development and team tactics, and probably working in some speed and agility. The pace of practice should be quick and the kids should get a lot of touches on the ball.
