MFA shore has done the same thing at spirit United tournament in past years with having players play for two teams even though it’s not allowed.

Breaking rules at official ECNL event is not the same as braking rules at local tournament.

Perhaps you all need to consider the fact that ECNL and ECRL are not the same League just as Pre-ECNL is a different league from ECNL and ECRL.

Technically Players can be rostered and play in all 3 different leagues at same time. The nuance here is each league is treated as a separate entity this explains why some 2012 players were able to play for both Pre-ECNL 2012 and ECNL 2011 leagues last year but will no longer be eligible to do so this year since 2012 and 2011 now play in ECNL.

rule is pretty clear, can only play one 11v11 game per day.

The rules are written clearly to keep a double rostering situation from causing questions about the integrity of the competition.

Great rule in my opinion. That’s when the parents are told their kids need to play only their age. Most parents are delusional and think their kid who may be ahead at 9 will always be ahead. It’s a good way for clubs to reset so to speak. Blame it on the ECNL rules rather than say, your kids just not dominating anymore and needs to play their age. In many instances the family leaves anyway because the parents are butt hurt and have ostracized themselves from the rest of the team.
