Can someone please explain how kids made the odp regional team that didn't attend the regional tryouts in CT? Two of the girls only attended 1 tournament the entire season.

Just spitballing here but possibly because they are talented and talented individuals don’t have to try out if there is a spot for individuals that are more talented than the current team or are definitely better than the bottom players. It’s quite simple really. Talents talks….

The regional teams used to be made up from players from each state, that way the east region was well represented. Packing the roster with a team of kids from MA is crazy. And people wonder why it's a joke now.
