No one is saying they shouldn't be proud of the accomplishment. If what you’re saying is true, they are playing an international stage, then so is Gothia Cup. So in reality, Dallas Texan Soccer Club is the true World Champions, because the competed on an international stage as well. The Nike tournament was just that, a Nike tournament. If Wawa had a tournament and invited teams from Japan, Germany, Spain, etc and NJ Blaze won, does that make them world champions as well?

You are right. Dallas Texans are Gothia Cup World Champions. PDA are the Nike Premier World Champions. Both international competition that I’m sure were structured differently. But why do you care if either team calls themselves World Champions? Do you complain on an anonymous forum like this when NBA teams are crowned as World Champions?
