    What are you talking about? If you have fun under the status quo and are paying to sustain it, then you are working to impart your preferences on other people who are not being served well for the status quo.

    And for what it's worth, my son thrives in the current club soccer landscape. It works great for us. But I also realize how lucky we are and I'm not blind enough to see all the problems in the current system.

      It says everything, as this is a College Sports topic, which I believe was started with the P4 Conferences agreeing to pay athletes directly and also back pay to players from 2016 forward. People then start to defend the current youth soccer system. As the chance on playing beyond HS (99% in the NCAA) are tied hand in hand. Some people, I don't know who, but have a pretty good idea, (anyone making a paycheck or people who have enough money to afford the current club prices) do not want changes to the existing youth soccer world. It maybe better for some and it maybe worse for others but I truly believe changes are coming and it will start in the NCAA and trickle down to youth soccer.
