It is not as easy as you think to coach the popular players. The club makes you cater to these kids and more painfully to the parents. I'd love to coach as I see fit at all times, but this is a business too. I do my best to teach and tell all players what is best for them long term, but I can't just bench a top player.

Bench the player if they are not helping the collective achieve the common goal. They will fall in line. Grow a set of balls and lead.

          That's how coaches get fired.

No wonder US soccer is crap. Coaches scared of 12 year old girls and their parents influence. The players and parents of the remainder of the team are losing respect for you every time you don’t do the right thing. Bench the selfish player, teach the lesson and be a leader. Take a stand, the kid will learn the lesson, you’ll win more in long run and then you’ll be more valued by the organization. Again, sounds like you need to grow a set bro.

Never going to happen. Bon Jovi is led by certain parents on this team with big wallets and big connections for discounted music gigs. Have to get rid of the dinosaur in order for this team to move forward. Too much corruption from within.

With the talent that’s leaving and the internal politics being described, will this team struggle next season? Sounds like a mess

This is hilarious. “Corruption within.” Is your life that boring that you need to stir the pot with political corruption accusations on a U13 soccer team?

There is literally one player on this team that is a “political” situation and she happily plays about five minutes a game.

Beyond that nonsense, don’t forget PDA now has MF’s best striker starting in August.
Very well could happen that all 3 of those teams finish ahead of pda. Losing 2 players who play majority of minutes is a big hit.

5 minutes a game to be part of Bon Jovi's collapse is both laughable and pathetic. Leave now.

Didn't they come in 1st in their division? Is that not enough?

Seattle proves this team is just another average travel team and parents are having a hard time dealing with that all the Kool-Aid they drank past couple of years is not working.
