If they want to post soccer highlights on their own, please do as that is fun and nice and they learn how to clip, edit etc. Parents posting for their kids is cringy. I don't know the specific player her, but I know the type of mom described here and I guarantee she is doing mroe harm than good. I have seen it so many times over the years. All the mom is doing is putting a literal and figurative target on her kid. Let her prove how good she is on the field, not on the internet. Your daughter will have no friends and many enemies becuase of you. Let her have fun and just play soccer please please please.
Everyone knows the child you are talking about and she is an amazing athlete/player! You cant take that away from her. Damn the way grown adults are so jealous of a kid. Its real sick. And no I dont know the kid personally but I am sick of reading about you all bullying a kid for being good. So sad.

I don’t see any bullying of the kid and if there is some I missed then that is awful. I do agree that this mom sounds crazy and I am opposed to such parental behavior as described. Almost nothing in youth soccer is the kids fault, almost always the parents.

This team is beyond toxic. Reading these posts is just the tip of the unfortunately.

They did lose a great player who was playing CB. They had there reasons for moving on and I won't put there business out there.

The other player from what I heard has an opportunity to play on an MLSN team. I am not sure if they will be trying to do both or not.

The cancelleing practice for rain is false as the only time that happened is when the facility has been closed.

They have added a good player from MF and the team was deep so they will be fine. Lots of talent on the team.

It sounds like you know this team well. Where is the CB going? I’m not asking why as it sounds personal but just wondering where you’d go from PDA as top players rarely leave there.
going to MLSN as a 13yr old girl will be tough socially. Such an awkward age for boy/girl relations. I wish her the best and hopefully the mother realizes she needs to tone it down as boys are idiots at that age and play stupidly when egged on.

A way to stand out. Instead of 1 girl in a sea of thousands of girls, it's one girl playing in the top boys league. I guess they want to stand out by being different

She’s going to get smoked or injured. Seems like a really dumb idea to be honest.

Facts. I’m a girl dad and love to see girls have success vs boys, but even Alyssa Thompson struggled when she played in MLSN. She talked about having to stay wide all the time to avoid injury as the boys were too physical.

If earlier posts are true, it sounds like this is parent driven. They can post on Facebook about her playing v boys and brag in the cul-de-sac. We played PDA 11s and they were a great team, but no single player stood out to the point where I thought she was too good here and needed to play MLSN.

Yup. Girls playing on high level boys teams is a recipe for injury or the boys will take it easy on her so
they don’t get ridiculed for tackling a girl. Girl parents who do this are super selfish and asking for a problem

False......weather related practice cancelations always happens and is an ongoing issue not because of the field. Its because of the lazyness of Bon Jovi.
