The truth is that the 90% you mention are uninformed about soccer in general and recruitment for colleges. Parents who are unrealistic and have high expectations for their daughters that is unrealistic to their actual talent. Parents that are uninformed and would rather place blame on others. They don’t get it by high school that there kid is just not good enough to play at he level of soccer they hoped for. Parents who would rather blame clubs/team/coaches about development or some other reason. No club forces you to do anything and if you can’t see it with your own eyes then you need glasses.

Those parents will be the ones paying the balance. They should be part of the process. Coaches who try to avoid parents are predators.

Did anyone else see the 2015G from Texas, her parents saying she was offered a D1 scholarship from Grambling University? Named the coach and everything. Parents are all just crazy. I don’t believe anyone until i see them signing the paper.
