Some lower level non edp or ecrl clubs might not care if u come to practice. Just show up to the games have fun and help there club win. It’s fun for the child. Also playing against lower competition can be good for confidence and allows them to make new friends. Can’t really hurt. But your club could be a pain about it. Tell them to screw off. Do what’s right for you!

Anyone accepting an ecrl offer is a waste of time, glorified EDP. Quality wise might be below the USYS Conferences.

All these clubs are selling parents lies. Just be honest. We don’t have an ECNL badge .. Instead they try to push ECRL like it’s not a second flight. It’s ok there are levels to every thing. College has division I , II and III very simple. Not every kid can play DI and so forth. Some kids and parents are happy DIII. But then again this is youth soccer lol
