But he makes a heck of a candy salad

Two of their starting strikers are looking to leave as soon as possible, they just got bullied/sold into staying at the last minute. But don't look to them to be key to the long term health of this team. Coach has no idea how much discontent there is on the sideline because of a couple of brown nosers are constantly telling him how great he is.

You're right. "Was never going" is probably the better way to put it.

From the sideline looking in, the starter will def be missed and I don't think there was anything negative about the move. You have a strange way of saying she's a dynamic player. She can play long or short and that's the job of a good CB. She's smart enough to make the right choice. ent from MF Mercer to MF Morris. Room for growth in the club, she deserved it, and she took it. Props to her!

In regards to the other players, sucks to lose any players but I get their parents reasoning. I believe it was the right move for their kids and I think they'll do great for themselves wherever they go. Playing time is important at this age and struggling doesn't help confidence.

It appears spots were filled by strong players and another year of growth within the team will only help them. Plenty of room for existing players to continue to step. Lots of talent across the team.

      Enjoy your summers!

Are NLSA and MFA Mercer in the same RL division next year?

2009, 2010 and 2013 are all slid teams with great coaching and a good base of players.

I don't know about the pre-11v11 teams but the 09s are the best 11v11 team now. They are more organized tactically than the 10s. 09s lost a top player to ECNL and the 10s lost two top players. Not sure what the replacement situation is.

NLSA promised people they would move to ECNL after a year, then it was “in a couple years” now they don’t even mention it.

                The 2010s and 2013s share a sub-loving, joy-sticking coach. Just saying...

2009 are definitely the best coached team because of their coach. 2007 used to be a decent team but with a the new coach he definitely caused a divide in the team. They used to offer great optional training on the side but that has stopped to. They definitely don’t do well at recruiting and now that MFA Mercer county is ECRL, NLSA no longer can use this as their selling point to recruit players in
                      the area.

This seems untrue. Our girls at least were never promised that. The coach just said that ECNL is the dream, down the road, and hyped up ECRL Whether or not ECRL can lead to ECNL is another question, but tbf, we weren't "promised" ECNL within a year.

Well another club that didn’t make to the ECRL finals in their conference. Expected

It's true that they used to do all sorts of extra training-- technical with Union, and endurance/agility once a week, and now that's all gone. You can pay extra for the agility stuff, but few do.

The thing with NLSA is, it jumped on the ECRL wagon too quickly, because the club really wants ECNL. But ECNL isn't going to happen anytime soon, and maybe not ever. So now NLSA ECRL parents are driving all over the tristate area for what are really third tier games, plus flying to showcases with players who wouldn't make an ECNL roster. It just doesn't make sense. Like someone says above, ECRL mimics ECNL, but there isn't any payoff and it still costs a LOT of time and money. Why not just stick with EDP? I think a lot of kids will burn out on the sport the way things are going, the way they have to drive twice as long as the game they're playing. And some teams over-roster, so your kid could be driving 90 minutes to play twenty. Imagine what else they could do with that time.

From a parent whose d wants to play in college but is a d2/d3 player realistically speaking, ecrl fits her needs. Been to ecrl and edp showcases and edp showcases are a waste of time. Nlsa would’ve made a huge mistake if they stayed edp imo.
