[QUOTE=Guest;n4701180]Wearing a gold chain, red neck cowboy hat, and inappropriate music at games is obnoxious. The team is too good to walk away with the reputation they have. The coach should be removed for allowing such classless behavior but then again he did try and play with 12 players on the field. So he’s right up there with the parents. Shame for SJEB. Nobody cares about them “winning” the top flight after their poor display of self control and aggressive behavior. [/QUOTE\)

Witnessed the same thing when we played SJEB. There were 3 dudes who hung around the flag pole drinking, yapping negatively and acted like the game was a fraternity party. Rumor is thats why one girl left mid-season and another player (who is a starter) is jumping ship this Spring. She has been spotted at practices. (ECNL team)
Someone should contact the GA director

If girls from FA, SJEB, MFA, World Class consolidate, they will be a force to reckon with... probably win multiple National Championships!

Parents actually control the landscape, not the academies.

So what it comes down to is to come together.

                Time is running out...

                World Class?

That team is perfectly fine. You maybe confused.

Say what you want on an anonymous site, but here are the facts: the 2012 SJEB GA team is a skilled, competitive group, and not one of them plays dirty. In the CSA-SJEB game at IMG, as shown on CSA’s 2012 Veo live stream (around 1 hr, 42 mins), our player received a ball and went shoulder to shoulder with a CSA defender, battling for position. It was a soccer play until the CSA player responded by throwing several uppercuts mid-play…. like a defensive back trying to knock a football away from a running back. The CSA player then shoved our player after the play stopped, prompting her to defend herself. With the game at 3-1 in SJEB’s favor and little time left, we had nothing to gain by being involved in a scuffle. It should never come to this!

No SJEB parents ran onto the field, but multiple CSA parents did, including one dad who has repeatedly mouthed off in the middle of our sideline. The GA commissioner and IMG security had to intervene. While initially, it may have looked bad for both teams, but after reviewing the footage, I’m confident there will be no further repercussions for SJEB, aside from the red card that was rightfully given to our player.

Blaming SJEB or calling any of our players dirty or our parents classless is unfair and just plain wrong. Take a look in the mirror instead! We are here to support our team and win some soccer, not start fights. We stay on our side of the field and are always respectful. We certainly don’t yell at opposing players like CSA did last weekend. A little pregame music to pump our girls up? Sure! A flag and some gold chains to represent the club? Absolutely!

I have no dog in this fight. The music and flags gives me secondhand embarrassment for you.

Passion for the game is part of what makes soccer so exciting! If you watch any professional or semi-pro match, abroad or locally (Union, Red Bulls, etc), you’ll see the same kind of energy with music, flags, and team pride. It’s all about supporting the players and building a positive atmosphere. Our pregame music and flags are just our way of bringing that spirit out in our team. It’s all in good fun and meant to inspire!

Playing music with inappropriate language is not a good look at youth soccer games.

when your 12 year old town team is like the Union or Red Bulls, profanity is ok

I am familiar with the supporters sections at MLS games. Drums, flags, flares are fine there. 12 yo kids soccer is not the place for that. Take a step back. You’re doing too much. It’s clear to everyone but you.
