What’s idiotic about traveling across the country to compete in league playoffs? Should the kids lose on purpose? It’s worth the experience whether they make it past playoffs or not.

Won't say what side I'm on but I prefer my d's team loses. At this age, I don't mind passing on a 3k trip to Seattle. If a sophomore in hs, maybe I think differently but Seattle isn't my first choice to ever travel. There's an inherent wager on this game, Winner of game loses 3k, loser saves 3k. If we win, so be it I'll suck it up
