There are teams all over NJ that claim to be good because they happen to win but in reality they play kick and chase all game long and one player on the team capitalizes on a winning goal when they were outplayed the entire game. ——- ever hear of freehold freedom ??? They won a lot but played inferior to every high level team they played. They won because of physicality and kick and chase. For the record…that team fell apart. The new team plays much better soccer at a slightly lower level.

Some coaches will play kick and run because they don't have the confidence in their kids playing out of the back. There's a fear of turnovers and easy goals. Shame on those coaches, you're doing no favors in the back by telling them to kick it up big. I see it at all levels it's sad

Studies show that free play is the best way to develop at younger ages.

Parents love cones! The more and colorful the better. The colorfulThey love screaming coaches. They love long lines. They love nothing that resembles the game. They want their children doing repetitive drills. That’s how you learn the game!!!
