We played them, they had a girl up top with little ability but played almost entire game ever when out of energy early. Their middle can barely win a ball half the time so the outside attacking mid ends up doing 5 times the work. Their defense doesn't give up much, which is good because I saw some balls slow roll between the posts in playoffs. Give them a solid center mid, and a center attacker with speed and foot work and it's another story. Until then, they will be what they will be. This is just the 2011 team, never seen any others play.

I wonder what changes are in store for the 09 team after a second failed attempt at playoffs. Obliviously something needs to be done with this team, because what they have now isn't working.

MFA continues to evolve. With the further alignment through Surf and expansion in NJ, we are positioning ourselves to be the destination for all levels of play. Our pathway is such that many of different skills can participate and have a chance to reach their final destination. Some will aspire to play collegiately and professionals while others just want to play competitively without the extra pressure. Either way, our depth and breath of soccer helps provide the support each distinct player needs.
We have taken our bumps and bruises in stride knowing that each challenge presents an opportunity. We humbly ask for your patience and understanding that sometimes things are t perfect but we continue to seek success for our players so we will leave no stone unturned until we find the right formula. We measure our success only by the successes of our players and teams. It’s been a glorious 25 years and the next 25 will bring us to greater places. We thank all of you that have endured our journey and know that we are doing everything possible to exceed all of our goals.
