Means exactly what is says, they are eligible to play in GA showcases. So until they get the GA badge, they wont have to travel as much for the week to week, but still have the benefit of playing in all GA national showcases. Its actually a very good thing and one step closer.

NJP Premier does enough travelling. They are the southern most team in the NAL Northeast and next season will have to go to the tip of Long Island. Most of their away games are 1.5-2 hours away. The only difference is that they will whip the other teams, so a little bit more fun, but just as worthless

1-2 hours driving is no that bad (unless the game starts in very early morning). We went to long island twice in the past March, with traffic about 2.5 hours. Always there is traffic, all the time.

It’s great. Anytime another NJ club improves it makes the competition better. PDA will lose a funnel of developed players, but PDA would never allow them in ECNL regardless of what NJP did. So NJP making the GA would be a really good thing for all the clubs except PDA. Looking at the showcase in NC they did pretty well - ppl will always have something bad to say.
