I am a parent of a younger player and have no skin in these age groups but wanted to give my perspective. Seeing grown adults constantly talking **** about this poor girl is repulsive. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but think about how this girl would feel if she read all this crap written about her. Get a grip and keep your negative opinions to yourself. I understand the frustration of seeing the club promote certain players and not others but calling this girl out by name and talking crap about her parents is toxic behavior. You should really stop and think how you’d feel if you were in her parent’s shoes or your kid was in her shoes. It’s not okay. Be kind people, remember these are little girls.

The behavior is gross. The same people that are here putting down some random girl that has nothing to do with what's being said are the ones complaining about how bad MFA is. Zero self awareness from their part and it's sad but their literally breeding more hate. No clue...

The player's parents are at fault and they can't ask to have it both ways. If they want her to play on two ECNL teams at every showcase and be featured in every newspaper, TV opportunity and social media post, then you can't turn around and cry about all the attention.

Nobody should be making derogatory comments about how individual teenagers play, but that's the nature of this forum and there have been many targets over the years including players who have gone on to have very successful post-club careers. Some of the biggest success stories are from kids who had less attention and fanfare and reached their full potential later and there are many stories of overhyped kids getting chewed up and spit out after their club years have finished.

Let it be a lesson to all parents to be a big fan of your kid but don't hype them up to the point where there are expectations that can't possibly be fulfilled even on their best day. Let their play speak for itself and don't let the club overhype your kid.

The parents are 100% responsible for all of this. They allow DB to post all these loves letters on social media about her. And, there is absolutely no reason why a kid should be on a ecnl team where her father is a coach. That right there causes issue with the parents and players on the team. It's not like her father has had a successful career as a youth soccer coach. He holds no coaching license and didn't pay soccer after middle school. The only reason he's a paid coach at MF is because DB doesn't want her to leave. Same reason why her mother is a PAID team manager for the team. And before you say that the parents didn't know about or don't approve about DBs love letters on social media, they are hash tagged to all the posts. DB even lists this young girls social media links.
It has been said on here several times that the mother LOVES the attention her daughter gets, and actually believes her daughter carries the team. I heard from mutual friends that the mom thinks her daughter is the best player on the 09 team, and that her daughter carries alot of weight on her shoulder because there isn't a single kid capable of competing at her level on the team. Truth is, this girl does NOT lead the team with goals or assists. Thats between two other girls, but you would never know that because DB only cares about one kid. Truth is this girl doesn't know how to hold her position, often playing 5 or more ALL AT THE SAME TIME. I know for a fact that players on the team do not like this kid because of that very reason. They lost against PDA because of this kid. She got in the way of the other players on the team. At times, other players had clear shots on goal, but DB has a standing rule to get her the ball. The one wing has a better foot than GH and better skills. Watching this girl plays reminds me of watching my 4 year old at a birthday party. There is no rhythm or reason why this kid should be all over the field, getting in the way of other players. Before you talk about how repulsed you are with these posts, maybe point the finger at the parents and DB. They created this mess.

I don’t doubt anything you are saying, I simply don’t think any good comes out of bashing this girl and her parents on a public forum. The scouts will see her for how she plays, not what the club or you write on social and forums. If they all fool the scouts, which I doubt, who cares, eventually the truth comes out. Let the play speak for itself, good or bad. If for whatever reason you can’t take the style of play, leave the team. With all due respect, go and enjoy your kid and the time you have together. No point in dwelling in the toxicity that you describe.

I love how everyone says she has no help. This is a team sport. Let everyone do their job and she won’t have to be all over the field. That club is such a joke
