Any truth that MFA is being moved to the New England Conference next season? We were told that with the addition of the Ukies to the North Atlantic Conference, that brings the total to to 11 clubs, while New England only has 8. Since MFA is the furthest club in the north, they would move to the New England Conference, bringing the total to 9 clubs, while the North Atlantic remains with 10. We were told that DB is fully aware of this but has not told any of the parents, and won't to next season for fear of people leaving.

South Shore Select from MA got into ECNL last March so they already have 9.
It suck because if you have 11 teams in conference you get that 4th seat for nationals.

Because they know the shore parents aren't going to like traveling to CT, Upstate NY, MA, etc for games. If they let people know now, a bunch would jump ship. DB is smart. Wait till you get people to pay in full, then you have them and their money.
