My daughter plays on a U15 team in monmouth County. (Will be U16 next year) We are having a issue with the uniforms. We were all given socks as part of the kits, but some girls are wearing different ones. It's to the point some.of the kids are upset and it's seems to be causing a divide amongst the players. Why issue socks as part of the kit if girls don't wear them? When I confronted the parents they said the girls like the high socks to protect their knees from turf burns, I'm calling bull****. We are giving socks for a reason. Should i discuss this with the coach? I have a email out to the director of coaching, and will file a grievance if need to. If you can't follow the rules, you shouldn't be playing at this level.

Exactly! How about the cleats?? Why back in my day a pair of black Copas were there gold standard. Now we have players wearing pink and yellow and every color but black. It's become more about them than the T-EA-M -
