Agree. To OP if it’s who we are talking about, I know your team, you are a close knit, old school team with lots of long term connections with each other. I think some of you are the type to genuinely feel guilty and conflicted about this. And I also know them for many years, and i would feel very guilty for her as well. I would tell her because she completely trusts the friend.
