So this is my prediction for the GA expansion 2025-2026

Seems like the northeast division is moving further and further north with next years new teams. STA and CSA are starting to complain about the travel. So I (and a lot other people) think that GA will make 3 division from the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic. This is what I came up with during a long and boring work conference call:

    Mid-Atlantic:
    Baltimore Armour (Baltimore, MD)
    Baltimore Celtic (Baltimore, MD)
    Beadling SC (Bridgeville, PA)
    Century United FC (Pittsburgh, PA)
    >>Coppermine SC (Baltimore, MD)
    Keystone FC (Mechanicsburg, PA)
    PA Classics (Manheim, PA)
    Skyline Elite SC (Charlottesville, VA)
    TSJ FC Virginia (Leesburg, VA)
    Sporting AC (Wilmington, DE)

    North Atlantic:
    Real Jersey FC (Medford, NJ)
    SJEB FC (Pitman, NJ)
    STA (Morris Plains, NJ)
    >>Downtown United SC (NY, NY)
Long Island SC (Glen Cove, NY)
New York Soccer Club (Purchase, NY)
Cedar Stars Academy – Bergen (Teaneck, NJ)
Cedar Stars Academy – Monmouth (Tinton Falls, NJ)

    Northeast:
    >>Bayside FC (East Providence, RI)
    NEFC (Mendon, MA)
    >>NEFC 2nd team (Mendon, MA)
    Oakwood SC (Glastonbury, CT)
    >>Rhode Island Surf SC (CRANSTON, RI)
Rochester NYFC Youth (West Henrietta, NY)
    Seacoast United (Epping, NH)
    Syracuse Development Academy (Solvay, NY)

Sporting AC in Delaware could be Mid Atlantic, it depends on how many new teams they want to add

That give 10 in the Mid Atlantic, 8 in the North Atlantic, and 8 in the Northeast.

I would expect them to add at least 1 team to the Mid Atlantic and Northeast

Maybe a 2nd badge for STA (maybe word it as their Mount Olive site, but just use whatever team)

Jeez that Northeast division is pretty weak. That being said, if this were to occur I'm sure NJ teams would be pretty happy. Competition seems pretty solid with really reasonable travel times(and removing the need to go to upstate NY/ New England to play against weak teams). I'd imagine there is a good chance that by 2025-2026 NJ Premier would also be added.

my guess is they'll add 6-8 teams to get to 3 divisions that have 11 or 12 teams. NJ Premier, maybe FA and a handful of ECRL Northeast teams that realize they'll probably not get promoted to ECNL like Alleycats or Crush

You forgot VA Revolution in the Mid-Atlantic. I doubt they expand to 3 conferences from the 2 existing. They may send Beadling and Century back to Mid-America or make a new conference between them and the WNY, eastern side of Mid-American and central PA clubs. I can't see them forcing SJEB and Real to play teams 2-3hrs+ away and not play 4 that are less than 1.5. I can also see NJ Premier being added before the end of the year as they were the only non-GA or confirmed GA club that had teams in NC.

yea, right now those 2 Pittsburgh are teams basically require a flight for the NJ teams, so moving them to Mid America might make sense (basically the same travel for them). As for making SJEB travel, they already have NJ travelling that far when there are other NJ closer. Its a hard call. They could easily schedule two of Downtown United, Long Island SC and NY Soccer club for the same weekend and just stay over (I am sure they try to do that for the VA games they have now).

I guess everyone is saying they will add NJ Premier, but they didnt add them this reason for some reason, not sure anything would change for 2025. My guess is they will add some Philly area PA team to keep their name in the region. Seems like West Mont is a team hated in the PA boards, so maybe them.

It is not always about quality of clubs. In MA New England Surf and Aztec are good clubs that GA could have added, but instead they added an NEFC second team.

Got soccer rankings is great for teams chasing got soccer points at EDP tournaments. Youth soccer rankings is not perfect, but a better app to compare teams/clubs.
In the GA age groups 2006-2011 NJ Premier is higher ranked than CS Bergen and CS Monmouth in 4 out of 6 teams; 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2011. This is without having a badge. Why is CS Bergen still in this league?!

CSA Bergen is rebuilding after splitting with NJ Crush. A lot of the players and even teams that would have been CSA Bergen teams are now just Crush, especially at the younger ages. CSA Bergen will be fine, they are just in the process of a reboot

They were horrible. Then had a partnership with Crush and got the whole 07 Dynamite team from Shaun Cryer(half ran away already) . That collapsed and now they are horrible again

it wasnt just the 07s. CSA had the badge. Crush had the pipeline of kids. I think both clubs will be just fine, but will take a year or two. There were 3x as many kids at Crush tryouts as CSA, but there are literally no other clubs in a pretty high density area. There are over 4x the amount of people in Hudson/Bergen/Essex counties as Monmouth in roughly the same geographical area.

By 25-26 those RL2 clubs will start to see the turd they were given and will start to move to GA. NLSA, LVU Rush, Europa, NJ Premier, Copa, PSA, and Crush will move into GA and shifting new conferences with a New England, North East 1 and 2, and Mid-Atlantic. I'm not sure what is going on with NJ Premier as they were the only non-GA club at the GA NC showcase that I saw. I hope Beadling and Century go back to Mid-America or form a new conference with Keystone, Classics, SDA, and Rochester. They may go back just because Nationals are gone from Mid-America next year.

Ga should put lower teams on warnings and remove if performance doesn't improve. I don't get why they'd want lopsided games in their league. There are enough teams out there that you can replace bottom feeder teams

ECNL is going to continue to pick off strong clubs in strategic regions. GA is going to slowly turn into ECRL level if they add all those teams you mentioned. They need to consider quality over quantity at this point and pray for some loyalty.
Honest question- would any of the NJ GA teams not immediately jump for an ECNL and ECRL badge for their A and B team?

The leagues wont do that unless they all agree to some sort of a whole club promotion and relegation system with NAL for GA or ECRL/ECNL. It would also have to be a regular occurrence, not just a one-off, otherwise it becomes a death sentence for the club. Remember, these leagues are run by the clubs themselves, not a group of player parents that care about this sort of thing. Its a business for almost all of them. That being said, it would be cool once these club v club formats are fully stood up to have a hard 2 clubs get promoted and 2 get relegated format between GA and NAL and ECRL and ECNL. You'd have to weight it with some sort of a points system where the U13s-U15s count more than the U17s and U19s (especially since the U19s are gone the next year). Maybe even award points for participation at U12 in the "pre-" leagues.

A lot of these clubs would get their act together pretty quickly, although it also becomes a lot more cutthroat than even today.
