Male vs Female coaches

Role model aspect aside, for girls teams, would you prefer a female or male coach?

Anyone have experience with top clubs using female coaches? Doesn’t seem to exist unless lower level.

Female. No male coach worth their weight would be coaching girls.

I'd keep my kid as far away from FK at NJ Blaze as possible.

Well then 2/3 or more of all girls teams would have no coaches. There's loads of quality male coaches with girls teams. Not all female coaches are good or connect with female players.

My D generally liked male vs. female coaches. However, that view was a bit slanted since she only had a few female coaches and they all weren't very good. She had good and bad male coaches, so at least the percentages were better.

When we were meeting college coaches, I personally gravitated toward female coaches since I felt (just my opinion) having a female role model was important.

She went to a school coached by a male, and has some regrets.

A) Frauds
B) In it for the wrong reasons…
