Dear Match Fit Academy Players & Families,

We are excited to present some very exciting club updates regarding our structure and leadership. Match Fit Academy FC (MFA) was founded in 2000 and since has been owned and operated by Malcolm Murphy and John Calcaterra. In 2021, MFA joined the Surf Nation Community, the leading organization in youth soccer development, to provide additional resources and opportunities both on and off the field.

Effective January 1, 2024, Pioneer Sports and Entertainment, the parent organization for Surf Nation, will join the ownership and leadership team of March Fit Academy FC (MFA) and play a key role in the club's future development to ensure we remain the premium youth soccer destination in the Northeast!

The existing ownership group of John and Malcolm remains.. It will now be joined by Dominick Bucci and Chris Leahey, who have been instrumental in bringing MFA to where it is today, along with our current partners Surf/Pioneer.

Our team decided to bring Pioneer on board with the objective of ensuring the club's long-term sustainability and growth while also providing enhanced resources and experiences for our families. It is noteworthy that over the past 24 years, many clubs have come and gone, but Match Fit Academy FC is now poised for the next 24 years and beyond, thanks to this strategic decision.

Most importantly, there will be no short term changes that will impact the players and families.

Consistency is key, and we have a lot to play for this spring, which is the priority. Off the field, there will be some internal restructure that will see increased opportunities and growth for staff, coaches, and administrators that we are excited to share. Of course, the main objective behind this new partnership is enhancing the experiences and opportunities for our players.

At this time, Chris Leahey will be stepping down from his full-time position as Executive Director of the club as he further enhances his sports management career as the associate director at the ECNL. Chris has been an integral club member for the past 15 years, having played for Match Fit during its inaugural year and subsequently operating the organization's day-to-day activities.

Despite his departure from his full-time duties, Chris Leahey, as a minority owner of the club, will remain connected to the organization. The club is grateful for Chris' valuable contributions to date, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Through this, we are excited to announce Jordan Raper as the General Manager of the organization. Jordan has been with MFA for 15 years, with decades of youth soccer experience.

Working alongside Jordan at club leadership levels will be two other familiar faces: Dominick Bucci as the Girls DOC and Brian Woods as the Boys DOC. The retention of these key figures and the other staff at your respective sites has always been our priority, and we ensured this the existing stat eine as seamles acd eige Then tre leara i moves fety with

into 2024/25 and beyond — more information to follow on further staff announcements.

We are all extremely excited about this club's immediate future. This venture, reorganization, and continued resources Surf Nation provides will ensure that Match Fit Academy remains recognized as one of the Elite clubs in North America.

        Many thanks,

        Chris, Domnick, Malcolm and John

The news is smoke and mirrors and announcing CL is walking away from MFA and focusing on ECNL job.

The only MFA branch with any surf benefit is Mercer.

As long as Bucci is involved, the lies will continue and JR can continue to scam parents with his recruiting fees
