      Ha love that you said skill. So many clubs take players with 0 skill. But take them because they are aggressive? And we all wonder why USA is falling behind the rest of the world. The rest of the world focus on developing skill. The US focuses on fast and aggressive kids. Skill will beat the later.

        This post sounds like it was written by a guy whose kid plays on a team where there are players he deems to be below his kids talent level. Man get a grip, enjoy the short time your kid will play and simply watch it for what it is……

          US focuses on what works in the college game via college rules. That's the carrot.

          They tried the other approach, following international rules and a more skillful approach, but the buying public didn't want it.

          (Not saying college players aren't skillful...just not as many and not as much)
