What 2012 team are you referring to? There are 3. The 12s 1st team hasn’t played anything but top flight 11v11 against 2011s since June 2023.

I think you have the 2012 Black team and 2010 GA mixed up. The 2012 Black team played in the Deptford tournament.
However the landscape of the 2012 will be different with the players will left

You make it sound like it’s almost a given that the current u-little SJEB teams (ie 2012s, 2013s, etc) will fall apart! I can tell you one thing that is for certain. Both teams have a very tight bond with each other and the coach. They also play extremely good ball! You should really check them out when you have a minute at a tourney. It’ll be interesting to see what the 12s do in GA this year. I wholeheartedly believe these teams will be stay together as long as they keep winning, esp against the other top teams in the state. They don’t have a reason not to! All trends eventually change trajectory.

It is inevitable, has happened to every A team that has come through since the '02s and it generally stems from the same 2 coaches. Tight teams fall apart all the time as kids get older, skills/physicals change, new players come and old players leave. No team/club is immune from it it just seems that SJEB has a talent for it.

The coach is chasing points. He always says (in that accent) it's better to win than to challenge themselves. The rumor is championships and wins equates to free beers for the coach. He knows his parents will not pay for losing.

This is absolutely hilarious! The12ga team has NEVER requested a lower flight. Maybe do your research before sounded like an idiot. If you did, you’ll realize they just played up for the last 12 months in top flights, and top brackets at every tournament entered.
