09s beat SJEB at the PDA memorial tournament. And talking to a South parent it should of been 5-0 but South couldn’t finish

I'm not going to defend the 09s, they lost a ton of players just as the 08s and 07s have - JT - All 3 of those teams were power houses from the younger ages and just like any other SJEB team started falling after HS. When a parent says it should have been more but we just couldn't finish usually means our team wasn't good enough to do better. Parents are morons, including myself sometimes, but I would never say South is better then SJEB at anything over a single match or what an apps algorithm says when it doesn't post the actual data points. Maybe South gets better in the next few years since they hired new coaches and maybe not but SJEB still has the better u-little program by far and has produced better players even though they don't tend to stay with the club when they get older.

You have to ask yourself what is wrong with SJEB if so many South Jersey girls are fleeing the club and willing to drive 60 to 90 minutes to play somewhere else?

That is easy, because their isn't much of a choice. SJEB players can either move to PF, Delco, Bucks, or Ukies (now) with some driving as far as Blue. A side from Bucks, South is the next worst option. Just to add, some drive farther then that as SJEB pulls from Cape May and Atlantic counties. There is absolutely nothing in terms of competitive soccer in those areas.

How can anyone want to go to a club who has had almost a complete turn over twice of ECNL coaches without the last name of Jenks since being in the ECNL, which has only been 4 years. The 09s have gone through a half dozen coaches.

That sounds pretty bad but That’s still better than MFA shore training.

And now jenks is their coach and will stay as their coach and that team has made major improvements in just a small time with him being the coach
