Wouldn't it be best to keep the score "reasonable" so their B team doesn't look too bad?

These games are usually pretty close due to white going extra hard to prove themselves and blue players not taking it serious knowing they are better. I have never seen coaches try to keep it close by the lineups or minutes.

Some ages are more competitive then others. Blue goes plenty hard as they don’t want to be embarrassed. Check 2009 Blue gets easier wins vs white. Not so much 2010 but many of 2010 blue will be gone in a year so gap will grow.
