What’s better? Being a low tier Prem 1 team or a undefeated high tier Prem 4 team?

Kid gets better playing better teams. If the team is getting trounced in tier 1, that’s not good but if they are hanging in, they will see far more benefits in the long run going against better players.

Being a low tier Prem 1 team means that you are a high tier Prem 2 team and that you have played against the best teams around you but won’t have as much confidence. Being a high Prem 4 team means that you are a mid tier Prem 3 team and that you have dominated low tier teams but you have better confidence.

Talking about this girls side here since on the boys side there are many more levels:

"low Prem 1" can mean a lot. Are they at least competitive? I truly believe Prem-1 is much better than Prem-2 and as long as the Prem-1 team is not getting blown out every game they are probably better than every Prem-2 team, but that doesnt mean the "best" Prem-2 team could compete in Prem-1. Prem-2 is a little better than Prem-3 and Prem-3 is only slightly better than Prem-4. Below that they are all basically the same, except whatever the lowest one is which is just the ones that want to say "we play EDP"

(here I mean "good" and "bad" relative to the other teams in the league)
As for switching teams: I wouldn't switch from my "good" Prem-2 team for a "bad" Prem-1, and I might switch from my "good" Prem-3 to a "bad" Prem-1, but I would surely switch from a "good" Prem-4 (given logistics made sense). For some teams a single player can make the jump/drop a flight or two (and you might not want to be on a team like that just in case)

No such thing as a low tier 1 team since there is relegation in premier 1. If they finish at the bottom or 2nd to last, they get relegated to tier 2. Premier 1 is very good competition, most games are very close and in my experience as good, it not better than ECRL for girls. You also have NL Pro in tier 1, so competition can be fierce.
