STA Ecnl coaches?

Hi. Has got any info on the boys level of the boys coaches at STA? I have 2 boys i’m looking at moving from MLS to ECNL to allow my boys to play high school without any issues. The catch is I want them to learn and be taught, I want it to be worth the effort

I assume like every other club, a mixed bag. They’ll have one or two who should move on to better but still stick around and one or two who shouldn’t be near that level. As far as this question goes, what makes a good coach? In my own opinion, it’s hard to find a good coach these days

Thank you for the reply. Yes, valid point. I just want my boys to be coached by someone who actually cares about them getting better and will help them get better, if I’m playing $3k+ per year (assuming that’s the costs) then I’d like to hope they’ll be someone who cares and does the best for their teams and doesn’t just pick up a paycheck and go home (sorry for the attack, experiencing this at current club).

You can play high school ball as an MLS player with 0 issues. Clearly your true issue here is quality of coaching and overall “teaching” so just say that

I've heard your can get a waiver from MLSN club to play high school,if your boys are top tier talent getting weekly call ups chances will be slim to none as far as coaches from STA what age group are your boys?

I have a son who is U16 and one who is an 8th grader about to be freshman in HS this summer. Any info would be appreciated

I think you will be please why not set up a try out with anyone practice and get a feel for their coaching philosophy
