Club announcements are usually Feb or early March. Clubs need to market it. Tryouts don't really happen in May any longer but rather late winter/early spring

No new teams for ECNL in our region unless they promote from ECRL Northeast. If they were to give it to someone else they might as well tell those teams/parents that they will never “make the big show”

Does anyone really think they will promote any of those clubs in Northeast RL?

They haven't even played a full season in RL. Unless 60% of the club wins the ECRL championship this year in June, they would have to do at least 2 years of full club success in the NE RL to even remotely be considered for promotion.

If anything in a couple of years, the high performing ECRL2 teams should get considered to move into the real ECRL and then take it from there. ECRL2 is clearly a step below even ECRL right now.

No such thing as ECRL2. There is ECNL and and ECRL.

OK keep believing that...it might not be officially called ECRL2, but its definitely a big step down from typical ECRL teams/clubs.
