2 goals in 2 games. Do you think letting the best attackers walk out the door and join STA helped? Wait they were replaced with kids from the white team. How did that work out? It’s also strange that the two kids from the white team that were selected for the all ECNL North Atlantic team were never brought up to the Blue team. How exactly do things work at PDA?

They didn’t showcase goal production, they didn’t showcase stopping an attack so what exactly was showcased? I’ll answer since I am in Florida at the event. Nothing! This team is absolutely dreadful. Like nothing I have ever seen at PDA. I’m not sure what went wrong with this age group but it’s well below standard.

The purpose of the game is to score, if you’re if you’re an inferior player to your opponent you score less than your opponent. Obviously the PDA players were inferior to their opponents. To put it simply means for you, they suck compared to the other team players

A team that’s played kick and chase for years doesn’t switch to indirect overnight. Clearly MO is bringing up players, rich or not, that play the style he’s trying to incorporate. Otherwise, why bring them up?

Product of Mick for 5 years. Terrible! Other teams developed. They did not. Mick was a horrible coach! Hopefully the new coaching staff can fix whatever is happening. Unfortunately swapping out a bunch of players who also had poor coaching for the last few years is probably not the formula. It really is a crappy environment. Yes, it is a showcase. I’m not sure if any of the players on PDA were able to showcase anything. They still don’t know how to play. They can no longer out run or out work the other team. The movement is awful! Passing is horrendous! Decision making is terrible! I’m sure some of these things will improve.

At this point, anyone is better than their previous coach.

All true. But for some reason parents continue to go to MS PDA teams. I just don’t get it. He plays the worst style of soccer in NJ with some of the best talent.

None of these clubs develop. All the great players do outside training. That’s why they are good. Very few coaches actually develop players. Usually they aren’t the coaches of the best teams. Those coaches just keep recruiting and don’t develop their own players.

09’s weren’t this bad when MFA shore players joined. This was among the worst performances ever by a blue team

Lot of teams are really good at end of middle school by recruiting within an enormous area, because all the other ecnl clubs are their own or delivering a product even worse as they do.
The 05 team was best of the country at u14, at u19 a good tesm.
The 06 team was top team in the country at u14, now just an other team in ecnl.
The 07 team was top team in the country at u14, now just a good ecnl team.
The 08 team was top team in country at u14(with the tribale soccer, but lot of power) now just an other team in ecnl.
The 09 team is top team in country.

if you look at PDA teams at the middle school
age, you think it is college soccer; they play the same style, but they also look like college players.
Are the PDA blue teams getting worse, because of lack of development or is it because the players they recruit are so much bigger and faster than the rest and peak at a young age. Or is it both?
