    Spring Season Roster Additions

Do you know if your child’s club added players for Spring Roster and do you care if your child’s play time is affected by it?

    #2
mine just added one, but they had been practicing and guest playing occasionally. In general when my kids teams have added a player in the spring, they have been an impact player and it doesnt really effect most of the other good players time. In general, the bottom of the roster get a few less minutes. Their club also doesnt overload rosters like many do

I guess you would know if you see their name added to team snap. If it affects my kid I would care but if it didn’t happen in spring it would have happened in the fall. And if your kids not good enough to play ample time then maybe find a different team.

This is the best time of year to move teams.

Obviously a dig at PDA. Shout out to all the parents who value development and playing time over 3 letters on a tshirt.

My kid's team added 2 so far. I think they'll make the team stronger so I'm all for it. We're not overloaded either so it will mean a little more rest during games. All good.

It doesn't matter what club your kid is at. Clubs will take players and the money any time of year regardless if mommy and daddy like it. Besides, what clubs in NJ are truly about development? If you believe there are any then you are just as naive as the parents after the letters

My daughter wants to tryout for PDA 2010 Blue. How hard is it to get into that team?

If you make it, chance is 80 % you will be replaced within 3 years. Good luck

healthy clubs should be adding players and pushing weaker kids down to B and C teams

Where does she play currently? That will help us give you an idea of her chances. Is she currently on an ECNL or GA team or a lower level (EDP/USYS)?
