With so many MLSN clubs in the northeast now, is the gap widening between MLSN and ECNL? Is this showing up in the recruiting stats with ECNL boys having a more difficult time making it onto college squads than in past years when there were fewer MLSN programs?

Boys is much harder than girls, many taking gap year

A lot of MLSN kids wind up at D3s because 1) there are fewer D1 teams than women (about 100 fewer) and 2) international players often take 4-8 spots on each team. If that's also where ECNL kids wind up, is giving up high school worth it for MLSN? Face it, there's some teams that are pretty poor in the league

Why would anyone regret buying OW, they set the standard in CT, a little down recently but great upside, especially on the boys side. Only 2 MLSN teams in CT, OW has the much better upside by far.

Clearly you've never been or played their teams. Facility is small and crumbling. Not a great location either. Teams are all bottom 1/3, boys and girls. If teams are that consistently poor something is up with management, coaching or both.

Special thanks to all the C team parents paying $3500+ a year for the funds to make this purchase

OW is still the best destination for good competition and development on the boys side in CT. The other programs are better on the girls side. OW was the standard and will be back on top with this new partnership and investment.
