Private Trainer Recommendations - Central Jersey

Hey everyone,

We’re moving to NJ in the spring to the Somerset/Morris County area and we were looking for any private trainers that do 1on1 and/or group sessions? My son (u13) usually does 1 private and 1-2 group sessions and we were hoping to find something comparable out there.

Look into A- game for technical type training.

figure out what level he is, and then contact the clubs in that area that are his level (from the top of Morris county to the bottom of Somerset County can be almost a 90 minute drive). I am sure they will all offer training and he can use this as a try out too. It might help to say what level he played at so people can give better advice (and maybe narrow it down to a town or two).

Sorry I didn’t finish my last post. ECNL is the highest league available in our region. Unfortunately, we don’t have any MLS next leagues in our area until the U 15 level

You should ask to attend practices at both ECNL and MLSN when you will be moving in. Depending on what' clubs are around you one could be a better fit than another.

As for privates I'd wait until you meet real people here and can ask around. This site isn't exactly known for truthful amd helpful information. Plenty of options since coaches struggle to pay rent in the area.

Ask one of the Red Bulls coaches. Most of them do training on the side.
