What’s the deal with parents investing tons of money into trainers when their kids are slow and unathletic? Can these kids make it based on superior technical ability alone? I have my doubts at higher levels as I think you need to be decent at both technical and have the physical attributes. What say you?

          Who?

Seriously though I've seen some of the players that have gone to him and they aren't much better than before they started with him. Just because you pay a ton of money for training doesn't mean you'll get any better. I've seen trainers that cost $20-$25/hr have greater results.

Some of those players probably peaked already and are already at an elite level so you may not see drastic results. Maybe gradual fine tuning type of outcome.

It’s not about the money. It’s about being on his Instagram posts. Kids I know go there are no better than other players. You can train all you want, if your unathletic and slow , no one is helping you.

That's exactly what my daughter told me. Some girls just want the Instagram posts and talk their parents into spending the money.

Ha ha. Liike someone said before - he posts players that he gave feee sessions to claim he trains them.

He will only post the kids that are good so his videos look good for the gram.

I’m surprised DB allows his 09 players to train with RC.

It’s no different than any other sports. Look at all of the paid trainers there are for baseball, basketball, etc.., There is a demand and people are willing to pay. No one trainer will get you to where you want to be. Have to put in the time and effort on your own also. Good for RC if he has a demand and clientele. He’s no slouch and puts in the time and effort to create a stimulating environment. Does a much better job than countless “paid” coaches at pseudo-academies that are standing around and babysitting.

He is a good trainer and you get a solid session…. But he is absurdly expensive. Why we don’t use him much anymore.

It’s beyond stupidity. Honestly my daughter has hardly done anything other then some pickup and self driven stuff and is a better player if not equal to most of the girls at her elite ecnl club. It’s all a farce and parents buy in like morons.

There are 09 girls training all over this winter. DB doesn't care.
