Yes but we moved from a town travel team that was relatively low cost and new club is not charging us for the winter/spring.

You will never get any money back. That's why clubs front load the fees. You're usually paid up by now. The new club should prorate for the rest of the year (unless it was a HS team that doesn't play in the fall). If you're a stud they want, they might discount. Too many discounts to players is a sign of desperation to fill spots

Mid year talent IDs are more for evaluating a program and for a club to see some players. Most people aren’t looking to switch teams mid year so they are unlikely to give you an offer unless you are a real stand out. Most will just invite you to more practices and see what your intent is.

Mid year offers secure player for spring and upcoming year. PDA gets the better players they scout then. Just as they have recently with pda blue. Rosters will be set for spring 11 v 11 if they haven’t been already.

Yes even if you don't want to move now but want a team for next fall, winter amd early spring is the time to get seen. Don't wait for spring tryouts. Better teams will pretty much have their roster set in April
